Brooklyn Haiku

The following is a list (including pictures which you can click on to enlarge) of bottles of wine I currently have up for auction at Wine Commune.com. 

All of my wines are kept in a Transtherm temperature controlled storage unit. Yes, those are a lot of bottles and that's probably why I have some up for auction right now. 

Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne 1989

"A highly extracted wine, with masses of fruit. Has a decadent white truffle and barnyardy character, with white pepper, mineral, toast and apple aromas. Full-bodied, with intense earth and spice flavors. Has lots of everything on the long finish."
-Wine Spectator 93        Bottle is in excellent condition.

Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne 1995

"Impressive for its balance, sweet-tasting fruit flavors and lingering, oak-spiced finish. Full-bodied, showing excellent intensity on the supercharged finish; this vigorous Grand Cru white Burgundy."

-A Wine Spectator Cellar Selection 93     Bottles are in excellent condition.

Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne 1996

"A prototypical '96. Racy, full-bodied, intensely stony and citrusy, it offers ripe yet delicate aromas and flavors of pear, pineapple, wet stone, mineral and toasted oak. Delicious as it swirls in the palate, then kicks in with vengeance on the citrus-smacking finish. The best part: not overdone in the oak department. Best after 2005."

-Wine Spectator 95    All bottles are in excellent condition and are wrapped in white tissue with an imprint of the Bonneau du Martray crest.  Makes for an excellent presentation when serving or giving as a gift.
